Excellent!nFor me, any ‘Car Talk’ is like discussing  A level Physics!nnMOT advice was to replace wiper blades and on the same day my car system showed that top up oil was requirednI popped into my local Halfords, truthfully I had no idea where to start.nOne of the staff helped me find the correct, and best value, wiper blades and asked if I needed help fitting them.nWhich I really did need!nI was directed to the payment till. The young woman serving was really helpful too. She arranged a member of staff, a young man named Fin, to fit them. Less than 5 minute wait.nnFin also checked the oil to confirmnit was required, he showed me that it was, and took me to the rows of oil and helped me find the one required for my car, and the best value.nnFin also topped up the oil and gave some good, practical advice for the future.nThe charge for fitting the wiper blades was just £9 and £5 for adding the oil top-up.nI cannot praise Fin enough. He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and at no point made me feel silly for not understanding ’car talk’nHe is a credit to Halfords, and his family.nWell done Fin and Thank you again!

Absolutely brilliant.  We received excellent service and fitting of a new battery after a very stressful 24 hours of breakdowns.  We booked a slot and paid online in advance and were very relieved to get this sorted on a Sunday afternoon by a very competent and friendly person.nI'm sorry I did not ask her name in all the circumstances, but thank you very much anyway.

Checkout isn't so quick as there's always some reason I'm standing there for 10-15 minutes while the person in front has a problem with their purchase. Maybe this is just the particular store I use or maybe I'm not as patient as I'm expected to be.nIt's irritating whenever I go.nOtherwise the staff are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They usually have what I need and have good range of products at reasonable prices mainly but some of them sometimes raise my eyebrows. I am however a cheapskate :-

I had the misfortune to have a stone damage my windscreen and was recommended to have it repaired at Halfords. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Halfords undertook this kind of work.nThe staff were friendly and helpful. The cost was only £45 which was another pleasant surprise. Thank you Halfords :

Pile of garbage to be honest. Put all the information in of my son’s bike, said a particular derailer for his bike was compatible. Took it apart after getting one… guess what!!  It ain’t. I now had a son whose bike isn’t fit for purpose.
