I've been to the Hemel branch of Cycle Surgery quite a few times. They know what they're doing when it comes to bike services and they are happy to search the net to find a cheaper price product so that they can price match for you. I recently ordered a new bike on the net from another shop but when it arrived the gearing wasn't set up brilliantly. I wanted to get some accessories for the bike so I went it to Hemel Branch. I mentioned the issue to Dan who was more than happy to take a look. In the space of a few minutes, he had it sorted at no cost. He then jumped on the net and matched the prices of the items I wanted to buy and I went away a happy customer. I would highly recommend this shop and this branch. It's also linked to the indoor Ski slope which is always fun to visit.

In 2013 I cycled for charity from Cambridge to Portsmouth, and then coast to coast across Spain. On my very first day, my rear wheel buckled and needed to be replaced. It was a Sunday, and this cycle surgery in Hemel Hempstead was the only bike shop open for miles. They were extremely friendly and helpful over the phone, they had the necessary wheel in stock and they fitted it for me. They even serviced my brakes and gears within the maintenance price. The new wheel was perfect and took me the next 800 miles of that trip, and it's still going now! Thanks guys!
