I stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel last weekend, and though I was unfortunately very ill and unable to explore the city, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recover. From start to finish, the hotel exceeded every expectation. The facilities are exceptional—everything from the restaurant to the breakfast and 24/7 room service was flawless. Even though I was confined to my room for most of my stay, the meals were delicious and promptly delivered, making it easy to feel comfortable despite my situation. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always available to assist with any questions or needs, which made all the difference. Their kindness truly helped make a difficult situation much more bearable. The hotel itself is spotless. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms and common areas are second to none. And let’s not forget the perfect location—it’s in the heart of London, making it ideal for anyone wanting to explore though I sadly couldn’t. While I’m disappointed I couldn’t experience more of London, I’m extremely grateful for the chance to rest in such a welcoming and well-run hotel. Apex City of London made my stay an absolute pleasure, even in less-than-ideal circumstances. Highly recommended!
We stayed there with my partner for one night and upon arrival we were greeted by the sweetest receptionist we have ever encountered. Later that night I experienced severe stomachache and unfortunately I couldn’t leave the room to explore the city. We couldn’t be more grateful to the staff who did their best to assist me. It was honestly emotional to see them care so much for a stranger. I don’t know how to pronounce your names, but if you’re reading this you know who you are. A big big thank you to the hotel staff. Other than that the hotel is everything we wanted and more. Super clean, big rooms, towels and everything provided, the bar was very easily accessible and had a very cozy atmosphere. When we come back to London, this hotel will definitely be the place we’re going to stay in.
We had a lovely stay here this weekend. We only got to stay for one night after our usual hotel was fully booked, but we would definitely stay again. Unfortunately, we didn't get to sample the food due to lack of time, but we wished we had, hopefully, next time. The staff were impeccable and couldn't do enough for us. We upgraded the room to a balcony and got to see Tower Bridge from the balcony, which at night was beautiful. The room was clean with a comfy bed, and the bathroom had a shower and lovely deep bath that we got to relax in. This weekend was a birthday treat, and someone made the bed with beautiful Swan towels, rose petals, and roses along with some lavender pillow mist and even a little rubber ducky! Just wish we could have stayed longer.
Having traveled across multiple countries in Europe for our honeymoon, we made sure to inform every hotel of our special occasion. Apex City of London Hotel was the only one that went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Upon arrival, we were surprised with an extra spacious room offering a clear view of the iconic Tower Bridge. To add to the experience, they welcomed us with a delightful treat of macaroons and had even decorated the bed with beautiful towel origami, adding a touch of romance to our room. The team was incredibly attentive, always ready to assist us with a smile. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, showcasing the high standard they’ve set for hospitality in London. Our stay at Apex City of London was the highlight of our trip, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the city.
Absolutely stunning hotel next door to the grave of Samuel Pepys and right on the doorstep of the tower of London. The room was fantastic and the bed was absolutely luxurious with fantastically soft pillows. The bath was enormous and was a decadent way to finish off a busy day in London. And to top it off, when you visit you get a free little rubber duck! I will forever treasure my little Edwin! I absolutely intend on staying here again for my next visit. I have officially now found my home away from home in London, I haven't stayed anywhere half as nice as Apex.
5 Stars! I recently stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions like the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with all the amenities one could need, including a very comfortable bed and luxurious toiletries. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had an impressive selection of fresh and tasty items. The fitness center was well-equipped and maintained, offering a great space to unwind and stay active. Overall, the Apex City of London Hotel provided an outstanding experience with impeccable service, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London!
From arriving to leaving, our party of 3 found all members of staff, extremely polite, pleasant, helpful and friendly. We did have a problem in our room, but it was very quickly resolved and dealt with, without a fuss. The location was excellent, only a 5 minute walk away from The Tower of London. A wide variety of restaurants within the vicinity to choose from. The hotel itself has a lovely restaurant serving good food and a lovely bar area, serving delicious cocktails. It was located in a quiet street. The decor inside was very nice and the rooms/hotel itself, very clean. Would highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit London.
Excellent property with the kindest and the loveliest staff. Nice, clean rooms with great service both from the front desk and the staff at the on-site Lamprey restaurant. The chefs and the servers did an amazing job preparing and serving quality and delicious food! Great location too - just 5 min from the Tower of London tube station and the tower itself. Will definitely come back. Thank you, Apex more making our trip memorable!!
I lived here for 3 nights. pay S$349.27 per night breakfast not even included, no view, no London bridge. and It is much worse than the $260 breakfast includedper night hotel. 1. there is no free water as a gift at all. 2. the first night, the air conditioner is broken, and I was so cold and waked up. The next day, I asked someone helped me, and then they said it is a realised issue. so if it is a realised issue, why cannot check every room and help to adjust the heat? 3. The last night, I was eating in the hotel restaurant, I was there earlier, but the waiter served some one else late come in to the hotel, which made me feel very unhappy already. And the recipient they called me three times at 9:50 pm around, and kept saying something that I don't get it at all. It sounds like I did not pay the wine bill, and I said I only order the hot water as a drink. I told them what they need, what I need to do, and my room number, and they realised that finally make a mistake but still kept call me twice. I lived in Leonardo royal hotel for over 3 night Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and only cost $260 per night. Much better equipment and service. This is the worst hotel ever. don't come. The service ,is extremelly bad.
The location is good. The rooms are poor quality and many have no windows or have opaque hazed out windows - so be prepared for that. Value for money is horrible. Service is good but there is tons of miscommunication between their own staff. For certain issues we reached out to Amanda from reservations / customer service who seemed untrained and rude. I’ll not be staying at Apex hotels again.
