great location! loved our view of the Tower of London! the rooms are great, and the staff is even better. I love the breakfast, and the decor is modern and still relaxing. it's cool, but not with an overdone "we're cool" vibe that often plagues new hotel concepts
Our stay at the citizen m was outstanding. The room was spotless with a very comfy bed and a beautiful view. The customer service was absolutely fantastic. It was my friends birthday and they put balloons and a card in the room for us and it was such a wonderful thoughtful thing. I loved the lobby area with the comfy sofas, and the coffee shop at the front was also excellent. Nothing could have been improved - it was fantastic. The rooftop bar was also a must see!
Everything Super! All services are impeccable! Very Happy to stay any time at any Citizen Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and very nice ambience with lights on different colours . Very good food, special breakfast you could choose for any taste and habits. I recommend it to anyone to feel Wonderful! Noteworthy details: Good position- near transport facilities, town attractions, and nice views. The hotel staff is very professional and friendly.
Love the location. The Hotel is right next to a Tube station, making moving around very easy. It’s also next to the Tower Bridge and there’s plenty of restaurants, shops etc nearby. The rooms are a bit small but not uncomfortably small. Very modern styled hotel!! The roof top bar is an absolute must, especially at night when the Tower is well lit. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel & affordable. I recommend it :-
Room was sparkling clean, quiet and small. Huge comfy bed. Fully automated check-in and check-out. Had zero interaction with service people but everything worked. Liked the international power outlets. Even though it is next to the Tower prepare for most rooms to not have scenic views at all from the window.Rooms: 4/5
What a fabulous stay! I travel yearlong in hotels but I have rarely seen such an incredible team, so friendly, efficient, professional, helpful and caring. The CM ambassadors are jewels. My rooftop experience was exceptional with delicious cocktails, great music and breathtaking taking views over London skyline. The rooms are soundproof, high tech and well designed. Whereas the very arty and cozy common areas are ideal for working or layback. Recommended 1000%.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, similar to my previous stay at their NYC location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay enjoyable. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to multiple tube lines and many popular attractions within walking distance. This convenience made exploring London effortless. However, I did encounter an issue with early check-in. Upon arrival at 8 am after a long overnight flight, I inquired about the possibility of checking in early, understanding that it was subject to room availability. The attendant, Chloe, informed me that early check-in was not available, which was understandable as the website had stated it was dependent on room readiness. As she told me this, a family of approximately 6 were checking out. I stepped away to explore the city, but when I returned two hours later, I used the kiosk to check in and found a room was available. However, Chloe insisted that I couldn't check in until after 2:00 pm, despite the kiosk processing my check-in successfully. This was particularly frustrating as I noticed other attendants were allowing other guests to check in early without issue. It seemed that Chloe lacked empathy for those arriving after long flights and needing rest. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the inconsistency in the check-in process, particularly with Chloe, left a bit of a sour taste, especially after a tiring travel day.
Everything about my stay here was fantastic. I arrived a little early, so they offered me a room, but said if I wanted a good view, I could wait. 45 minutes later, I had a room with a beautiful view of the Tower of London. I looked forward to bidding it adieu at night and seeing it as I waked up every morning. Service was friendly and super helpful. Athena, in particular, was very accommodating, helpful with recommendations, and overall just wanted everyone to have a wonderful stay. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety and the rooftop bar was an amazing experience with a killer view. This was the third CitizenM I've stayed at around the world, and by far my favorite! The location can't be beat as I came in on the Standsted Express and took the tube one station; when I walked out of the station, the hotel was literally behind me. Rooms: Have fun with the mood pad! Great sound and light features. Food & drinks: Breakfast available, 24 hour Canteen, rooftop bar Noteworthy details: It's all about that giant, comfortable bed!
A boutique style hotel built right on top of Tower Hill tube station. It's a self check in using the computers in the lobby. There are staff available to help if required. The views to the front of the building from rooms overlook The Tower of London, Bridge and the The Thames. The rest overlook less interesting views especially the rear. All rooms are controlled from an Ipad or an app downloaded to your phone. The mood lighting was a weird affair but I found it useful keeping it on a low blue overnight as the roll up blinds and night curtains are very effective at darkening the room. Rooms are small but reasonable being the width of a large king-size bed at the far end by the window so only has one way of getting in it! There are storage drawers under the bed and hangers by the entrance door. The shower is fitted with 2 heads, a normal flexible one and a fixed overhead rainfall one. Both easily adjusted for flow and temperature. The top floor bar area has astounding views and an outside balcony viewing area and serves all the usual drinks and mixers. The restaraunt space is a great area to use. I didn't use the meals available only breakfast which is self service and consists of a full English or Continental styles. Breakfast is not included in your stay booking and is available at £19 which I thought a bit steep but there are lots of choices to be had though!
The rooms are rather small, but you'll find everything you need. The beds are super comfortable. Only the check-in is super impersonal ... but if that's the only negative point, so be it. The location right next to Tower Hill Underground is very well connected and many things are within walking distance. The view from the rooftop bar is priceless. And also from some of the rooms see picture. Rooms: The rooms are small and rather cramped, but you'll find everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and with the lighting technology and the spacious shower compared to the room, you can easily spend a few days there. But I wouldn't want to try it for several days for two. Nearby activities: Many attractions are within walking distance
