A beautiful hotel to stay in. We stayed for a few days and enjoyed it every moment. The staff are super friendly. The bar restaurant is amazing. The food was impeccable. We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here because the one we were scheduled to stay in down the streetwas not that nice at all. What a relief to find the chamberlain hotel. It turned out to be a vacation saver in the form of luxury boutique.
Nice hotel. Room was spacious and well equipped. Bed was a good size and very comfy. Very clean room. Shower could possibly do with upgrading as it wasn't very powerful, but that is just me being super critical. Bar had a really good selection of ales and the staff were all super friendly. Really good value for the location. Rooms: Comfy and well equipped Nearby activities: Close walk to the city and all the sights. Food & drinks: Good selection of beers and ales
Great location, rooms mostly very nice although there'd obviously been an issue with flooding in my room previously and the bottom of the bathroom door was falling apart. They really ought to sort this out as it didn't look very good. Service was good, breakfast very nice and the welcome drink very welcome.
The reception, lobby area, bar and restaurant on the ground floor are great, modern, clean and stylish. I think it's a shame that they haven't rolled out this same style to the rest of the hotel. The rooms are clean, but tired and in need of updating. They're lacking in style and dare I say it, a little bland. That said, however, they are well equipped, our bed was huge and the linen super soft and comfortable. The pillows were a bit lack lustre and flattened easily. The bathroom was a good size, and it was great to have a stand alone shower as well as a bath. Sadly, as mentioned, it's in dire need of updating as the shower door didn't shut properly and there was water damage in several places. The room had a safe, mini fridge with complementary bottled water wide screen TV, desk and seating. We stayed during a heatwave, but the air-conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable overnight. We did open the window to get some fresh air, but there is a lot of road noise from early in the morning 4am to late at night. You can also hear the tube rumbling underground and feel the vibrations even through the mattress. That said, I did sleep fairly well. The free drink voucher on check-in is a nice touch sadly doesn't include cocktails. Breakfast was included and there was a broad variety to choose from. I had poached eggs, sausage and toast, croissant, juice and hot chocolate. It was all good... not great, but to be included in the price we can't complain. Overall, I would go again, but I'd probably be more inclined to try somewhere new.
The room looked old with peeling wallpaper and stains in the carpet. I picked up an odor from the mattress. The bathroom faucet leaked. Our view was not impressive. There were no usb ports but the front desk was helpful and gave us an adapter. However, the breakfast was amazing. Full spread of pastries, fruit, and any hot items you could want. Friendly staff. Nice lobby, bar and new modern public bathroom with scented soap and lotion. One complimentary drink at the bar. Short walk to Tower Bridge.
Fully recommending this place. Nice, comfy hotel. Easy and fast to check-in. No queues. You can mostly use staircase as the hotel is small. Very good, well organised room with a lot of electric sockets, shelves, accessories, comfy bed. Spacious bathroom that includes both bathtub and shower. Served breakfast. I would rather prefer full buffet but still, very tasty and fresh.
Very pleasantly surprised for the price in central London. Great little hotel. we had everything we needed, some really nice touches in room shoe buffer, decent coffe machine etc Great pub downstairs, one of those places I would happily use again or recommend to a friend.Rooms: 4/5
This hotel is a good fit depending on what you’re looking for. I was a bit misled by the 4 stars and the photos into thinking this was more of a high-end stay than it was. Aside from expectation not matching reality, the hotel was clean, had good WiFi, kind personnel, and in a decent location.
The hotel is nice and it is in a great location. People at reception helpful The restaurant is awful. I ordered a steak rare/ medium and I couldn't cut it. It was full of fat, not edible at all. When the waitress came and I explained to her, she was very nice with me and told me she would take it off from the bill. Then another guy came and said they couldn't do it as I did tested it of course I did! He offered me to the my glasse of wine out of the bill, but I explained that wasn't the wine the problem, was the stake. I would say, if you stay at this hotel, avoid the restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around, plenty of choices. Don't fo the mistake to dine here Rooms: Nice, tidy and cosy Nearby activities: Tower hill Safety: Safe area Walkability: Amazing location Food & drinks: Bad food. Avoid the restaurant
Last time in London I stayed at the Mayfair, this little hotel is better location better more friendly staff, and oh my what a fantastic table service breakfast. Good room, very clean, slightly tired decor but no complaints, nice bathroom and a bath and shower, so many hotels do not have a bath, this one does, and the hotel and room is fully air conditioned. Great hotel a hidden gem. Walkability: The hotel is 5 min walk from Tower Bridge London, you can't get a better location.
