We bought a used ID.5 recently. Liam was great - professional but amiable, and very responsive to emails. He went the extra mile to check our trim-specific features were working, and offered to leave the car on charge for the afternoon after collection while we went to get food. Also appreciated the short pre-collection video he sent over showing it had been valeted. Do watch out for the admin charge which was explained to us once we sat down, but wasn't shown on the website listing.
White glove service from start to finish. JJ found us a 2022 Polo GTI when the supply chain is such a mess. They fill the car with gas. They have very organized and deliberate systems to ensure everything is done to the highest standard. JJ was constantly in communication. We have never had such a high quality experience with a car purchase. They even deliver the car with a full tank of gas.
Nightmare to park although they seem to have resolved this with a 'meet n greet' style system where you can just hand over the keys and the car is brought round at the end of the day. My only complaint this time was I dropped my car off for a minor service oil change at 8am and heard nothing all day, called at 16:00 for an update as it takes me an hour to go pick the car up and was told "it's ready", I suspect it had been overlooked and had I not called, then I wouldn't have been given enough time to collect the car again that day. Confirmed by the technician greeting with "good morning" on the inspection video they provide. Rather frustrating as I can change the oil myself in half an hour, it's a 10min job if you've got a proper garage with lifts...I just need the service stamp! Staff are friendly and polite, I have dealt with Tony on the service desk for a couple of years and he is a credit to them, honest and helpful.
Sitting, broken down, in a lay-by just 8 days after getting our 3 year old Golf purchased from Alan Day back from a major service and MOT £480 from Alan Day. The service felt completely unnecessary to get in the first place. I felt upsold, but decided ‘at least the car will be running very well after this’ - Obviously made a mistake on that! Can safely say that the car is far worse from taking it in and possibly have done damage to the engine tbc. Have been advised not to drive any further. Not a happy customer. Will be chatting to customer service.
I Wanted to say a massive thanks to Liam for his professionalism, Knowledge and great customer service. Kept us informed from beginning to end. Car arrived much earlier than planned, in time for Xmas, so so pleased with everything! Highly recommend this Alan Day! Definitely ask for Liam ;-
Great service. The advisor Liam was very friendly and sorted us out efficiently and made the process less stressful and hassle free. There is a nice energy in the showroom and we were warmly greeted by Emma and another friendly advisor who offered us tea/coffee/water. Would recommend
Absolutely disgusting treatment. We booked for a ID3 test drive on the 31/10/2022 and to further enquire about the car, we were pretty much determined on placing an order but we were shocked by the waiting time 12 months. The sales representative, Azmol, showed zero interest and made us drive a dirty ID3 let alone the representative was sitting in the back playing with his phone instead of explaining about the vehicle and showing us the features; he was getting comfortable at the back without saying a word! It was like a uber ride instead of demonstration ride. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!
Liam has been the most exceptional sales advisor i have come across in my 60 years. That man deserves a raise and much praise. His level of customer service is impeccable, I reccomend you ask for him when you visit this store. Only then will you appreciate the weight of this review. Thank you again Liam for all your kind assistance.
Beautiful showroom and shop front. Well laid out. I love tidy environment and this is one best car dealerships I've been to. Receptionist was very helpful and nearly all the staff you go past asked if you've been seen. Reason for 5 star. Keep it up guys.
A really excellent service. I messed up my booking and they could’ve easily turned me away but Jason went out of his way to ensure my car received its service that day which was incredibly kind and helpful. The staff clearly prioritise customer service and I really appreciated how accommodating they were. Quick, efficient and a good job by the whole team. Will definitely use this branch again.
