Stay here quite a lot and it's good value for the cheap rates. However this time I stayed, they double booked our room. So, much to my surprise I opened my room with the code I was given and there were someone else's bags in there. Luckily I managed to get hold of someone using the phone numbers on the wall in the office and the manager investigated. She was new to the job but was very nice and helped us check into a new room. Overall it turned out okay, however the window was left open in the hall way of the second floor which made the whole 2 floors very cold. Tried to close it but it wouldn't budge.

This so called executive apartment was disgusting. The place was absolutely filthy to the point where we did not dare to use the kitchen to cook food or make a hot drink. The oven was so greasy the grill pan was full of fat from previous people who had stayed there. It looked like it had been there for quite a while. The bathroom was filthy mold and mildew around the bath. Faeces all splattered at the back of the toilet. Hairs on the walls. Nowhere to hang clothes only screws in the walls. The blinds were that dusty we could write on them. We thank god we only booked for one night . AVOID GOING

'Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices. I am complaining to Suffolk & Norfolk Police Force.

It took 30 to 40 min to acquire the codes and be able to get in the room. The "customer service" was very disrespectful telling me to "look better" at the email she sent even though it didn't contain the right codes. When I finally got into the room, everything was so filthy (stains on carpet, brown stains on wall, bedsheets, mattress, bed table, everything really..) There was bits of cigarettes under the bed and the whole place smelled awful. The kettle was filled with stagnant water. I did not even bother to sleep there and spent my night at the gas station, drinking coffee to stay awake. Dreadful night. Chavs were shouting from the restaurant of the hotel, there was a strong smell of weed from the window and anywhere in the parking really.. I was expecting something simple because it was cheap but I do think hygiene is important and there is surely a lot of issue about that at the Winelodge Hotel. Do not go there, rent a caravan, sleep on the beach, find another way !!!

Absolutely disgusting. Spent two nights here and the apartment appeared to be uncleaned for months. Mud was smeared all over walls, furniture and large stains were all over the carpet. Dust had piled up on nearly all surfaces and the cupboard doors were falling off their hinges. There were multiple dents and large scratches on the walls. These apartments have potential to be a lovely place to stay but are not taken care of.
