We had two rooms booked for two nights. On arrival I was given the wrong room which was eventually sorted. The room itself was large with a long size four poster bed. The decor is very dark and not at all appealing. The bathroom again large but I was disappointed with the cleanliness of it there being several areas of mould. The second room however was in an annex and it was extremely good. Lovely large walk in shower, All fittings were very modern and looked reasonably new. The only issue with this room was that it was still being cleaned when arrived 430pm and get check in was from 2pm. Breakfast was good basic English and if you wanted something different they would do that for you. I don't think the first room was value for money but the second room was.
Fantastic stay! Spent two nights over a weekend for a family wedding that was being held at the hotel from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food, rooms and drinks were all spot on! Well stocked bar and very good prices we will definitely be visiting again soon. Thanks again to Kerry, Sarah and Curtis and the other guys!
Beautiful building, decor a bit dated. Sunday carvery was very nice, although the Yorkshires were not very good, lamb was lovely. Staff were kind of un-orgainised and service was a little slow but not so much that it affected our meal. Overall an average experience, nice for dinner
Lovely location just outside Lowestoft. Staff are friendly, helpful and have a great sense of humour. The rooms are clean, well presented and comfortable. The single room is best described as 'compact' but does the job. The food is excellent.
Lovely hotel . Very convenient for my stay. Staff were very welcoming + helpful. Very pleasant. Rooms were very spacious,tidy+ very clean . Breakfast was lovely + there was a good choice on the menu. Hope to return again soon.
