Very friendly staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfy beds. And toby carvery within walking distance :)

Warm welcome upon booking in, and leaving the next time morning. The breakfast exceeded my expectations - very hot, well stocked, well cooked, much better than I'd experienced in posher hotels. Breakfast lady friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean. Good food, basic but fine. A little noisy as the people above us were elephants. Very easy to book and cheap.

Stayed overnight in a family room was advertised as two double beds in the room, daughter was in a lumpy put me up bed. Room was too warm, had the windows open in the snow. Other than that room was ok, clean, comfy (apart from put me up bed lol).

Lovely big double bed in family room but the pull out children's beds were pretty uncomfortable when I had to get in to one, the kids didn't mind them though. It was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and adaptable. The connecting corridor to the Toby carvery was a boon. Went there for breakfast and dinner!
