When entering the travel lodge at 9pm on freezing cold December evening I was greeted by Solomon. He could not have been any more welcoming than he was. Smiley, joking, professional all at once. He made sure I knew everything I needed to know straight away. THe room was clean, the hotel was quiet and the price is good Travel lodge is a bed for the night and I'm glad to say it was a comfy bed. Complimentary bowl of cornflakes in the morning would make it a 5 star experience.

Really well positioned and incredibly clean. Ease of access to all the key surrounding points of interest is second to none. Ample parking for the amount of rooms, 5min stroll to a tesco superstore, a couple resturants within walking distance, as well as a theme park. Only downside was the lack of mobile phone signal, but that's more of a problem with the town and my network.

Altho the rooms r on the small side and the walls r thin, it is a very comfortable place 2 stay and the staff r amazing...

Decent hotel. Clean. Nothing stuck out of the ordinary. Customer service is what you expect.

I need to start by saying the staff were lovely. But the room was either badly soundproofed or the room above was inhabited by a herd of elephants. The room had no phone or 3/4g reception and there were no plug sockets anywhere near the bed - not good for alarm clocks.
