Lovely walks from the hotel no need to get back in the car till you drive home. Comfortable large rooms, great shower. The restaurant food was very good, a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings to admire or sit in.
We got married at Ivy House in April and it was the most perfect venue.nFront start to finish Hannah was super helpful in helping us organise our perfect day. Communication was great and allowed us to have a stress free process. Every single staff member is so welcoming and helpful which really made the day even more special. Angie, oh Angie is phenomenal. So bubbly, helpful and simply a wonderful person. Nothing was too much for her. She helped myself and my bridesmaids enjoy getting ready completely and took care of any pre-wedding prep on the big day. I cannot express how much of a positive impact she had on the day for us.nnThe venue is absolutely stunning. Bridal prep was perfect in the Rose Suite. Lots of room, make up table to get ready at which was ideal for our hair and make up stylists and a little changing room in the corner to get our dresses on. Getting married in the beautiful Crooked barn, followed by photos in the gorgeous grounds of Ivy house. Through to Ivy Hall where the team had ensured drinks were served promptly to our guests. We decided to have a wedding BBQ which was delicious. Our guests continuously told us how much they loved the food on the day. Ivy Hall was absolutely perfect for our evening reception when all our guests arrived.nnWe truly had the most perfect wedding day at our perfect venue, Ivy House. Thank you to everyone for making it such a beautiful experience.nnMr & Mrs Gibbons x
Perfect location, and stunning grounds leading to a lovely river walk into Oulton. Very clean and spacious rooms, Could not fault the evening meals and breakfast and the friendly staff made the stay one we wish to repeat.
Only stopped in for lunch, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Meal was disappointing, veg almost raw and pie pastry very hard. Was also put off by person serving petting and patting guests dog then serving food without washing there hands.
A lovely hotel I would happily return to. What stood out for me is the staff. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and professional. The location is also fabulous for a visit to Oulton Broad.
