A very cozy cafe. The staff looks after you well. Their scones were really fresh and nice. The combination of hot chocolate and scones they offer makes a good deal. Thoroughly enjoyed handmade items on display for sale. They've got a parking just ahead of them as well.Food: 4/5
Fantastic little shop. Great for a quick meal and treat with coffee. Location and view are perfect, and with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely happy we stopped here instead of spending more time and money at a restaurant…freed us up to explore and enjoy the day.
Great view and amazing location with a nice patio. Really lovely, friendly coffee, snacks and ice cream shop right on the lake, just off the road, and close to a big public parking lot. We enjoyed a good Americano, scone with jam and clotted cream, and a hot malted milk drink. You can also pick up a bag of bird feed for the resident ducks and swans for 50p.
5 star view and good snacks and drinks , also the staff are fantastic and helpful . This is one of the nicest places in the Lake District to sit outside on the terrace and see the lovely Lake and mountains ! Been visiting here for years and never tire of seeing the views. Kid-friendliness: Room on the terrace to sit and people watch a little beach couple of yards away for kids to feed ducks .
Quaint little spot. Right on the lake. Great place to sit and have a coffee and a scone or an ice cream after a lake tour or a walk about.
A busy little coffee shop on waterfront at Ambleside, Lake District. A few tables inside but plenty outside. Home-made blueberry scones a speciality. Good selection of hot and cold sandwiches, drinks and cakes.Food: 5/5
Visited this cafe while waiting for a ferry. Small place, gets really busy when the weather is nice. Good coffee and delicious blueberry & cream scone. The location is great as you can do take away and then sit at waterfront or go the nearby park.
My favourite coffee shop in Ambleside- great bites I love your BLT! and soups, fantastic cakes. Lovely views over the lake.
We sat inside, as it was a cold day. Coffee was good. It's a coffee shop, nothing too fancy. Sitting outside on a sunny day would definitely be better.Service: 5/5
A popular little coffee shop by the pier that works on a high turnover of customers. Offers some lovely scones as well as cakes, drinks and ice cream. Outdoor seating is available with a lovely view of the water. This is a place for a pitstop rather than a destination in itself. A panini or snack to fuel up, a seat to take a break and you've done all you need. That said, the scones are nice and it stands above the level of many nearby coffee shops. Worth a stop if you need a quick bite.
