Small, cozy cafe situated on the Pier next to ticket office. Perfect for coffee and some cake they have good deal jug of tea and scone for 4.99£. Also U can buy some souvenirs there.
The best hot chocolate I’ve tried in lake district
Delicious gingerbread hot chocolate and brownie, great view of the lake even on a rainy day, friendly staff and peaceful vibes, nice place to chill alone or with others :Food: 5/5
Best tuna cheese melt I've had, lovely friendly staff, highly recommend
A small and quaint café on the pier that's surrounded by breathtaking views of the lake. The staff are warm and very friendly. The café contains several round tables that seats 4 people and is child friendly. The food is simple and delicious and their hot chocolate with cream is to die for. With the wide range of food on offer, you're bound to find something to suit your tastes. They also have a small souvenirs shop.
Honestly such a lovely place for lunch. The staff are so lovely and made us feel so welcome. The food is all cooked fresh to order. I had a lovely jacket potato and salad. All washed down with a chilled glass of prosecco.
The place looks good, in good location centre however the staff was not even noticing me waiting to be served. Quite shocked, as everywhere you go in this town , everyone is so polite and smiley. But in this place I have been ignored , while waiting in the queue and someone else was served instead of me. Kind of a rude behavior there. But It may be just one stand thing.
Had breakfast here recently. I would certainly recommend the egg and sausage sandwich. Good value for an excellent white bun full. The full English looked good and my wife enjoyed it. Asking for the bacon well done was an absolute masterstroke. The cakes looked excellent but decided I'd be good and resist. Phenomenal views of Lake Windermere make the visit that bit more memorable.
Don't go here if you have a baby, tried to charge me 50p for hot water to warm my child's bottle even though I bought drinks after I challenged him he then offered to do it for 20p. Absolute joke of a business and should retrain there staff. I've had 4 children over 9 years and never in my life has someone tried to charge for that. STEER CLEAR
Visited this lovely little gem right on the pier. It is a lovely location and not over crowded. The foid simple but well prepared and presented. The cafe appears to be run front of house by young polute staff. In particular a young avery tall young man . He was extremely polite well presented and and made our visit very pleasant . Well done .
