Only my second visit here. Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Pleased to find a good range of beers including a decent Sam Smiths Porter. We had a meeting in a booked back room and were left undisturbed, though a bit of noise filtered through from the other bars. Good service and prices. Quite happy to go back again soon.
My friend and I decided to stay at the Wagon and Horses for a night so we could explore the day/nightlife of York. What a fab little place to stay, staff were lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. Only a 10-15 min walk from the centre of York. Will definitely stay again.

Really lovely pub , great breakfast, we had the large room which was very spacious. The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. A bonus was the free parking.
Great room.... a bit noisy but as to be expected. Took ear plugs so all good. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly place and very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!
