Very nice warm and cosy
Sam Smiths at its best.
Lovely pub. Landlady very welcoming, beer is good. This is a quiet out of the way but within the city walls Sam Smith pub. Beer is good and surprisingly cheap being within the walls. Great welcome by staff and locals alike. Closes early ish at 9pm.
Lovely little place off the beaten track , Andy the landlady was lovely , sorry to hear it's closing.
A good place with friendly people ,real people ....
Very strict on the no swearing rule which is nice, also no trainers, baseball caps, or hi-vis work tops. The strict rules make it a quiet pub but a very pleasant one to be in.
Nice made myself a friend welcome will always go back x
Complete joke. No trainers no track suits no hats shut most of the time. Was a good old working class pub in time gone bye but whoever runs it has killed it.. .
Friendly and local. Nice to see another warm inviting Sam Smith's on our doorstep
