Love the atmosphere in this pub. The staff are friendly. Everything was clean and covid safe. We didn't eat here this time but the food and prices still looked good. Good size beer garden as well.
A historic Old pub with an amazing story, its a must visit place in York.

Beer ok, staff courteous and friendly but not impressed with the food. Not horrible but small portions, overpriced for both portion size and quality. Worth a visit for the beer and atmosphere but to be frank I've eaten better meals at Asda's cafe. Would like to give it more stars, the staff were fine but the food lets it down.
I absolutely love this olde pub with is amazing character and skeleton sat at the bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful too. Amazing food .
