Staff were fantastic, food was great, nice atmosphere and surroundings, can't wait to go back! - Came back on my own during a work break, was fairly busy. Again very good service, lovely food and didn't feel out of place at all. Very relaxing, just what I needed!
Four os us went for an early supper this week. Nice welcome when we got there. Great round table near the fire. We all had the 'rack of ribs with fries & coleslaw' and it was delicious. Lovely clean pub with attractive decor. Free car parking in the rear of the car park as long as register your registration on the screen in the pub. The ladies loos were sparkling clean but could do with a bit of refurbishment.
Vastly improved from the period before the pandemic . Good range of meals at a sensible price - particularly the set lunchtime options - and now have some vegan choices too. Not the huge range of real ales from the distant past, but still able to buy a decent pint - especially Mondays and Thursdays at £2.99 per pint! Friendly staff, too.
Nice atmosphere. Food was lovely and portions are large. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices good if you manage to get their deals they have to offer. Have been a few times and will definitely return.

Lively and popular Friday night. Food was reasonable and tasty although no Michelin stars here. Can order from bar or table via app. Lots of parking space. Open fires for atmosphere too
Staff were friendly and helpful fitting us in when we hadn't booked a table. We was kept up to date on how long our food was going to be. Food was quick and tasted great!
Have just celebrated my 70th birthday party at the Village Inn. I cannot believe I have not been here before. The food that was laid on was amazing. Service was good and I will recommend this place. We'll done guys.
Lovely family friendly place, super clean and nice staff. Did eat this time but the menu looks brilliant so going back soon, excellent vegetarian and vegan options as well
Brilliant night, fast service and always polite and kind service. Would definitely recommend the food the cooks are fantastic!
