Great food. They have a pub garden but when we visited would only serve food inside or on the benches out the front by the road. They brought our food, but didn't ask about sauces. I went in to get sauces only to get back to the table and realise they hadn't brought cutlery either. They were very apologetic about it. So so, but food was great
Stayed at this hotel on returning from France before driving home to Wales. All staff very helpful. The room was immaculate as I think it has all recently renovated. The price included a full English breakfast which was cooked perfectly. There was several other choices if you didn't want the full breakfast with toast etcRooms: 5/5
Great service and communication whilst organising my grandads birthday party. Staff were extremely helpful and very accommodating to whatever we needed. They were happy for us to put up decorations and put on a really good spread of food. Would highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5
Had the most fabulous Sunday roast. Beef was super and very generous portion with great veggies. Staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommended but do book for lunch.Service: 5/5
Close to Royal Victoria Country Park this little gem of a pub was a great find. Staff here were very friendly, huge menu, spoilt for choice and very big portions too. We thought it was really good value for money. A good place to visit if you're heading to the country park. Nearby activities: On the doorstep of RVCP.

Lovely pub, with lovely staff. It can get really busy so it is best to book if you want to eat. Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking, and seating inside and outside. It's worth a visit or a stop if you are walking in the area.Service: 5/5
Late afternoon Sunday lunch on a really busy day. The staff were friendly and attentive as always, the food was great, good beer, nice wine and a jaffa cake sponge to die for. Great job Karen,Gareth and all the gang. Thanks.Service: 5/5
This has NOTHING to do with The Prince Consort, other than to recognise the fact that they are a rarity on Google Maps? As an ex-publican, one of my biggest gripes is the fact that we reviewers, give freely of our time to comment on these venues...but rarely... do the owners of said businesses bother to reply? This is definitely NOT the case here. All reviews are answered by the owner or the team and I am looking forward to actually visiting here to give a genuine review. Thank you The PC.
Stopping the one night and getting the ship tomorrow. Lovely clean room. Fantastic food and the staff are lovely. 1st class.Rooms: 5/5
