Story

The seasonal menu uses fresh, top quality ingredients, using local produce with traditional roasts available at weekends as well as children’s portions. Food can be enjoyed in either the stylish restaurant, or as range of bar bites whilst you relax with a drink. Private dining for 12 guests is also available upstairs.

A little on the cold side inside but the huge loaded sandwiches were lovely. Located on a lovely village road, a stone's throw from the water. Nice, hearty food, even a vegan option. All in all a great place.
Wonderful food and great staff, the best in the area.
Nice little pub staff very welcoming polite and attentive. food was good although the portions were a little small. I did like the fact you had to pay for condiments 75 pence for two tomato sauce and a mayo. But on the whole nice atmosphere although a little expensive.
The atmosphere and location are lovely, just by the river. The food was very nice, the landlord and staff are very courteous and polite and very attentive
The friendliest welcome imaginable on a very busy evening. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the dinner was excellent. So good to see that some places haven't forgotten excellent customer service in the present circumstances. Thank you!!!
