We serve freshly made homecooked food & have a wide range of lagers, ales & stouts. We welcome children & are ideal for functions.

Story

The Old Ship dates back to the 16th Century and is a mere stone's throw from the marina. Our beer is very good and the food is all freshly prepared - with some great specials. We are very popular locally, not just for the above but the warm and friendly atmosphere too. We serve freshly made homecooked food all day and have a wide range of lagers, ales and stouts. We have picket fence gardens and welcome children. We are also avaliable for wedding receptions, conferencing or any other kind of function.

We love The Old Ship! The food is always amazing and the staff are super friendly and professional. We’ve stopped going to other places as we know it can’t be beaten on quality pub food. Thanks again, we had another beautiful roast this evening.

Been going here for years. Every year we have our Christmas do there as well. The food is always good and homemade. Service is always friendly. So much nicer compared to anything you'd get in a chain pub.
Had a break in Swanwick for a few days went to The Old Ship a few times whilst there. Food very good, served in good time, courteous staff, and even tried the takeaway service, which was excellent. Small portions a bonus for small appetites.
Well organised and staff first class. Food and beer excellent.
The Old Ship Inn is definitely my favorite place to go for dinner! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff and kind and helpful. I absolutely love it there .
