A very pleasant hidden away location. Lovely old building will low exposed beam ceilings and many great outdoor seating locations as well. Meals tasty with good portions and cheerful, willing staff. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Prices a little high compared to similar Australian venues but I would pay it again.
I came for valentine's day and the food was fantastic! We had the steak sharer which was good value and more than enough for two people. The camembert was perfect, nicely seasoned. They also had a fair selection of desserts. Service was really good and they adapted the menu to suit our requirements. Lovely pub, with a homely feel. Real fire and fantastic views. Highly recommended, will be back
I first came when I was 14 with my uncle. many emotions accompany me when I come by with my family today. Thank you for keeping this wonderful place alive. Good food, nice people serving. Everything fine! We will come back and back and back again!
Beautiful location and superb ales st this Badger pub. Didn't eat this visit but will in the future. Trivia fans will remember this as a location for 80s tv show Howard's way. The surrounding area is beautiful too
Lovely place for dogs! The ploughman’s was amazing for the price And very filling lots on the plate. This old authentic pub has a wonderful modern injection so it’s great for everyone The views are stunning… only downfall is the stairs down the the pub there’s quite a few not that I mind going up is a workout with a full belly!
Beautiful atmosphere, lovely outside area with electric heaters, great for sitting outdoors in winter. The inside is also so nice, the theme carries out through the whole place as well as the drinks options, providing an overall happy experience.
Love the place, been going there fir number of years. Simon the Chef is a great cook. This place has a atmosphere. Go and find out yourself. There is 54 stairs down from car park.
Ate a really lovely meal with one of the prettiest views in my opinion. Staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Excellent experience all round
Is a cool old style pub, with a nice view on the River Hamble. if doesn't rain and is in not to cold there is a nice garden outside or a patio direct on the water... pretty cool place. The stairs which goes down to the pub are not so friendly expecially going back up after few beers lol... is the price to pay for the view
Think I'm going to spend my summer in the beer garden overlooking the water. Spend the day on the water and then finish here. Fantastic staff, food and a range of drinks. Will deffo be back.
