Story

Tweedside caravan is located in the heart of the beautiful rolling hills and countryside of the stunning scottish borders. with its own on-site bar offering a wide range of beers & spirits. Food/snacks are available at weekends its all prepared and cooked in our new modern kitchen. The bar also offers regular entertainment. We aslo have a play park & a Laundrette. Situated close to the river tweed, famous for its salmon & trout fishing & within easy reach to major tourist attractions of the scottish borders & with it being only 30 miles from edinburgh. the town is well know for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere and has many things for visitors to enjoy be it fishing, hill walking, mountain biking, golfing, music events or just chilling out surrounded by our beautiful scenery the choice is yours. Traquair house which is over 900yrs old and holds various events throughout the year, is only 2miles from innerleithen.

Traveling with a camper van. Pros: quiet, warm water, electric pitches. Cons: Lazy staff, no proper grey water disposal place for fixed tank camper vans and no hose for filling up the fresh water tank. I asked the receptionist about grey water dumping place. She said it's next to trash bins. I drove the van back to the bins and couldn't find it. I drove back to the reception and asked her to come to show it to me. She refused and was explaining me several times what is a manhole, like I would be an idiot. After I insisted several times, there was another lady, who reluctantly came over. There was a manhole covered with rainwater, so that it was almost impossible to find it for her too, no tools to open it, no sign on the wall to instruct the location of the manhole.

Absolutely outstanding spotless site Staff fabulous & pub food you have to try chef is amazing & Tow- Bar pub on site is full of really nice people will definitely be back. :) :) :)
