Rosetta Holiday Park is a beautifully matured park set on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders.

Story

Rosetta Holiday Park is a beautifully matured park set on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The caravan and camping park is set in grounds surrounding a late Georgian mansion and stable block which currently houses our popular Hayloft Bar and Restaurant.

The park is spread over 50 acres giving ample room to comfortably station all tents and touring caravans. The caravan park accommodates touring caravans, privately owned static holiday caravans and for the camping fraternity we have tents including some with electric hook up. For the more discerning holidaymaker we have top of the range luxury Holiday Lodges available in our newly developed Parklands Lodge area at the top of the Caravan Park with stunning views toward the Venlaw Hills.

Poor and very disappointing. Showers and toilets very dirty and not cleaned once on our 2 day stay, somebodies discarded underpants still in men's showers, both days. Water was a trickle at best and scalding hot. In ladies 1 of 2 showers not working at all. Worst shower facilities I have ever experienced. Pitch was waterlogged. Bins surrounded by broken glass so unsafe for children and dogs. Charge for dogs but nowhere to take them. This is described as a park rather than a site but bar facilities not dog friendly. Checked in at the bar as no one at reception and saw no one for 2 days checking or cleaning facilities etc. Beautiful surroundings totally spoilt by poor management. Peebles lovely town and campsite ideally situated as town short walk. This has the makings of a lovely site just needs upgrading of all facilities and some money being spent. The current situation makes it over priced and undesirable.

Great little town Peebles. Rosetta is a nice site stayed maybe 4 or five times over the last few years. A little disappointed water pressure in the toilet block nearest our van very very poor. Staff said it was because of new houses being built nearby. I am not convinced as these houses have been there on my previous visits. Also disappointed that even though the pitch cost is £25 per night I was charged another £20 per night for a small tent alongside my vw van for my daughter to sleep in.

Love this place. It has to be one of the friendliest campsites I have stayed on the bar is great can't wait to go back. PS the toilets have really bad reviews but they're not actually that bad I've had a lot worse

Lovely swamp, spent 3 days wading around in mud. We were supposed to be there for a week but gave up after the 3 days. I know that they cant help the weather but we were put on pitches that basically flooded, even though the site was virtually empty. Toilets/showers were pretty bad too.

Very good campsite. Excellent staff and very friendly site. We were camping and the only let down was the lack of showers (only 2) and the showers had very little pressure. Apart from that, very happy to revisit.
