Been often for lunch and not disappointed this time. Did not know it had changed hands. Really friendly staff, chatty and pleasant. Food good, great choice and everything delicious. Definitely will be back.

We went on a cold winter's day to see the snowdrops. Lovely walks, pretty even with bare winter trees, peaceful and dog friendly (if leashed.) Ended with a lovely cup of hot chocolate in the cafe which is in the old stable block.

Fantastic food at cafe. Gardens in general very interesting and good to walk around However...disappointed with witnessing lots (and lots) of weeds in the planted beds and borders. The weeds had obviously been there a long time (all summer at least) and were happily seeding everywhere. The grass and edgings were immaculate. Hopefully someone will handclear it and know not to dig the weeds in. Loved the potted plants.
