Ettrick Valley Yurts. Glamping in the Scottish Borders. Small rural campsite, gorgeous yurts, fantastic views, wood burning stoves, paddling stream, stars.

Story

Family campsite. Kids love it here and if you want to get them off their phones/ ipads etc. etc. and into the countryside - well we do have Wi-Fi but not in the yurts (apart from Yarrow and Bluebell occasionally) ....so this is the place!
It will always be a small site with plenty of space and privacy so also perfect for a romantic escape for a few nights.
Prices start at £85 per night. All bedding included.
Cyclists, walkers and anglers also all very welcome - one night stays available.

Sorry no dogs or stag/hen parties.

Amazing experience! We stayed here as a couple with a toddler and had a really special time. Nic and Tam were really great hosts. The location is beautiful, and very peaceful. The yurt we stayed in had comfy beds, plenty of bedding, and was really stunning inside. There is an honesty shop on site with wifi, fridge, lots of extra cooking equipment, games, books etc for you to use. The showers were nice too. I honestly can’t rate this place high enough - we had an amazing break here. Perfect to get away from normal life for a few days and experience something quite different.
Beautiful views, fantastic facilities and a lovely owner - what more could you ask for? Would definitely recommend it to everyone, and will be returning next time I'm in the area.Rooms: 5/5
A really cosy place to relax after the christmas holidays. Suprisingly warm once the log burning stove is going. Amazing scenery and not far from Selkirk or Edinburgh if you want a day out. Beautiful walks near by no matter what the weather. The staff are just a phone call away if needed, no mobile signal so they have installed a land line in the honesty shop open 24 hours. A camping stove with two rings and grill are provided in the yurt for cooking along with cutlery, cups and plates. Basic but clean shower and toilet facilities a short walk from the yurts. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable break which I have already recommend to friends.
Best time ever with my family! The kids loved it and it was all very relaxing and romantic for me and my partner. Will definitely go back!
Nice river and the yurts are comfortable. Small fridge at main reception well needed on a warmer weekend.
Thoroughly recommended. The yurts are cosy and comfortable, and just ideal for a quiet break away. Dark skies too, for stargazing!
