We have only been the owners of a caravan at Crossburn since March '23. Since the new owners took over, we feel the changes that have taken place have all been for the best. Improvements made to the entrance of the site, installation of a security barrier. George definitely knows his stuff when it comes to running a caravan park. It is very handy for the lovely town of Peebles. We look forward to making many more happy memories at Crossburn.

Having been a vacational resident at Crossburn for some three years, I am exceptionally delighted with it's continued  development and it's high standards of customer care. It is located in a picturesque position and offers a peaceful , superbly enjoyable haven for relaxation.  It is very well run and maintained. Supportive wardens are on hand to provide any services and assistance. Quality static caravans and lodges to suit all needs are competitively priced.The centre of Peebles is close by, offering good quality shops, restaurants,  public houses, cafes etc. A swimming pool, golf course and fishing and walking opportunities are available and the internationally famous Glentress cycling centre is within easy reach. In short, an outstanding  holiday park, adjacent to many amenities, offering individuals, couples and families peaceful breaks from the humdrum of day to day living. The park is pet and dog friendly. I would unreservedly, highly recommend life and vacations on the park as not to be missed by anyone!

Crossburn is my happy place. The site is well maintained, always clean and George and his family do all they can to help if required. A wonderful community feel in the beautiful borders town of Peebles, with ample amenities in a safe and secure environment.

CROSSBURN  HOLIDAY PARK Is a beautiful  site which is well run by very professional  site owners and camp wardens  . It is set in the historical  town of Peebles the town is within  easy  access  of the caravan  park also has regular bus service to Edinburgh  and Galashiels  infact this park 1st class for peace  and tranquility. I have found  the site to be very  friendly my happy  place George Natalie Claire also cannot do enough to help owners

Caravan site flooded badly recently that led to some static owners being told to leave by the police for their safety. Google Crossburn Caravan Park flooding on Planet Radio for news article although video footage of a torrent flowing through the park had now has been taken down. Photos attached will give you an idea of the scene the following day although that’s after the flooding had started to recede. New owner from October 2023. If the flooding doesn’t make you think twice about about spending your hard earned money on a static new or second hand, good advice would be to speak to other static owners on the site about their experience since the new ‘regime’ came in. I can’t imagine too many will be overly positive about life on the ‘holiday’’ park. There are a number that are trying to sell their caravans but you will either receive an offer way below value from the owner or if you sell privately he will take 18% of selling price. Buyer beware!

Crossburn Holiday Park is a very welcoming, quiet and immaculate park that is everyone's happy place! Can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for their own little bit of sanctuary x

Crossburn Caravan Park is in a nice position on the outskirts of Peebles. It has static caravans only now so any reviews previous to 2022 are no longer relevant. It also has underwent change of ownership from a local family to 2 different owners during this time who have sites and interests elsewhere. Unfortunately the changes have not been an improvement with the vibe of the park changing from being relaxed and family friendly to one where you are concerned which one of the long list of rules you might break at any given time. Play park has been removed to make way for more statics and our children are not allowed to play on their bikes on the site. There are no amenities on the park. Definitely not family friendly although I’m sure that will suit some. Appears that profit is the main driver for the owners yes it’s a business but this in my opinion is to the detriment of the holiday home owners experience. I notice a previous post about flooding on the park, which appears to have been pretty bad at the end of May given the photos and the video that has now been taken down. It’s something well worth considering before investing in a static there, as it’s not the first time flooding has caused issues and concern on the park.

Great site home owners only site Always clean and tidy also nice and quiet which makes it Great for relaxing

I love Crossburn Holiday Park.  It is filled with holiday home caravans.  The grounds are well kept and maintained.  George and his team are very efficient and helpful.
