Lovely place, great views and helpful staff. Facilities are clean and everything is working really well, even if they are not brand new they are very well maintained. Showers and hair dryers are good too and it's nice and warm inside, so not uncomfortable to get undressed.  They have separate cubicals too with sink, mirror and hair dryer each. Well worth staying here!

A very well kept site in a beautiful area.  Most pitches are hard stands divided by grass.  Most pitches are large and many are full service (electricity, water & waste).

The site itself is ok but the management are the most unhelpful I have come across
I usually like to have a lay in on a Sunday and watch Sunday Brunch which finishes at 12.30
I have always asked if it’s ok to stay a little later, 1-1.30, this has NEVER been an issue before
Last night about 4pm I asked and was told by the lady I would have to check at 9am to see what the bookings were like for Sunday
I have stayed in a lot of CAMC sites and it’s rare that a site would be full much before late afternoon/evening
It is now relatively quiet as it’s getting towards the end of the ‘season’

So I got up early, went over to ask to find the same woman who checked with a male over a 2-way radio, who said no, need to leave at 12...

The reason had changed this morning as they need to kill some weeds...

Lame, poor excuse, it’s a big site that has 171 pitches, even though half the site is closed already (they are closing for winter in 2 weeks), it still leaves about 70-90 pitches.
Some of these will probably still be here tomorrow, so killing weeds...

This has ruined my stay and I think the management should take a customer services course, a compromise could have been arranged, but I was just told NO!

They just want to get rid of us and take the money

Have stayed on this site a few times. Set in a beautiful location, however I feel the facilities are looking dated and could do with an upgrade.
