Christmas 2022 spent with family at Fallbarrow. Lodge was spacious, clean & warm. Staff were all cheerful & helpful. An example of going that 'extra mile', a few of our party were late arriving - the restaurant staff stayed on a little later & made them a much needed supper. Location is superb for both the lake & town, but when on site is relatively tranquil. I would highly recommend Fallbarrow for families of all ages, it helped make our Christmas very special.
Me and my partner have been here multiple times. Lovely holiday park, great location, great accommodation and lovely views. Staff are lovely and the food on park is delicious. The only downsides I could say is the road/ speed bumps around park which can’t be helped and the lack of entertainment on park. But this is made up by the amount of entertainment and out door activities located around the parks location!! Will continue to vacate here, very happy.
We came away for my husband to be 37th Birthday, we arrived on the Friday and left on the Monday and what a shame it was to be leaving. From the moment we got there the staff greeted us with respect and was very helpful, our home for the weekend was spotless, comfortable, lovable and just mind blowing. The service at the restaurant/bar was more than we expected, very police and professional and the food was just amazing. Cannot wait to return in 2023! Thank you.
Only had a 4 night stay in an accessible caravan which was ideal but let down by floor space in main bedroom. Personally feel that £450 is expensive for 3 ppl. There was only 1 night with entertainment. Food in the bar was good. Unfortunately screaming kids and barking dogs is not my thing while eating. On the whole it's ideally situated with the town area in walking distance. The accommodation n site where all clean n modern I would consider visiting again.
Our lodge we stayed in was lovely here but we were on the lake and after heavy rain we were stuck in the lodge because the lake ran over the path and we didn't have wellies. Also it is so dark in the evening its hard to walk around. Its that dark when we arrived we went to reverse into our parking space and got stuck on grass as it was like a bog and with a 5 month old it was not the start to our holiday we wanted. The staff are all really friendly and the pub is lovely. It is unfortunate that there's no entertainment.
Booked a week away, Been upgraded from a caravan to a lovely lodge. Some proplam with the electric in the caravan. The staff have been so helpful and friendly. A lovely place to stay and enjoy the sights of the lakes.
Modern, clean lodges on a beautiful site. Ideally situated in the centre of Bowness. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much bother. We love the walks to Orrest Head and Cockshott point, both of which can be done from the site. Highly recommend the nearby Porto for a meal.
We had a great modern van. But the location is what makes tgis site. You can walk on the site to lake windamere and then its only a 5 min walk to boweness. The pub resturant on site was nice too. The little arcade and soft play enternained the kids for an hour as well as the outside park.Rooms: 4/5
Fantastic location and was so relaxing beautiful scenery and facilities on site. Willows is great the breakfast was lovely my only downfall was it was pitch black when we walked dog which was uncomfortable to be honest just needed more small lights to make.it better . Will be back though
Great location. Caravan was OK for 2 adults and 2 children. Didn't really like having to go up the wooden steps to get to our van though. Caravan was clean...ish. Bathroom door wouldn't shut or lock but once reported was repaired quickly.
