Story

Surrounded by Lakeland stone buildings, mature trees and traditional stone walls, Limefitt even has its own country pub selling Cumberland ales! Children in your party will love burning off their excess energy in our adventure playground and can head to the games room on wet days. While the adults amongst you will appreciate the superb range of good food on offer, the convenience of the on-site shop, and the ability to step straight out into the stunning Lake District landscape.

Fantastic experience at Limefitt for the first time.
From the terrific support from the staff, stunning lodge and lovely park.
Within an hour of arriving, we had a visit from a lovely lady who was the accommodation manager asking if we needed anything and to inform her if we needed help.
Great start!
The lodge was the nicest one we have ever stayed in.
It was an owners van and was immaculate and fitted with ever extra you could want.
We were unable to travel home at end of the week due to the 'beast from the east' snow storm.
Robert reception helped us sort out an extra couple of days on an ongoing basis at a  very reasonable price until it was safe to drive.
Exceptional customer service by the staff from start to finish.
We usually stay at White Cross Bay, which is great but I think we've found our new favourite park.
Great dog field which was spotless, kids play park which was also immaculate and play field.
Terrific site for families and  couples alike.
Nice and peaceful and only minutes drive away from nearby Windermere, Ambleside and surrounding attractions

Really enjoyed this place. The pub on site is ok but doesn't do takeaway and its hard to get cell service but we will be back. Elder lodge 5 was amazing and dog friendly.

This is a nice facility, great log cabins at a good price. Handy for Windermere and a few local walks nearby. It has an okay pub on site, decent food and beer. There is also a small shop on site.

Stayed in a Beckside.  Lodge just clean enough but towels and bedding were fresh. Sockets rather overloaded and electricity tripped if using kettle and microwave concurrently.  TV kept loosing signal.
Nice to have an on site pub/restaurant but limited veggie option and 'not available' on first and only visit.  Shop basic but handy for forgotten essentials. 
Very dog friendly site. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a log cabin for the Christmas week.  The site is beautiful and full of wild life. There is a pub on site which also serves food.  A very enjoyable week away.
