Travelodge Lancaster Central

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Very central, about a ten minute walk from the train station and the bus station. The main market is also a stone's throw and there are plenty of pubs and cafes around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but with just the basic amenities, still good value for the price. There's no restaurant in the hotel, for breakfast they sell a take-away box but it's not worth the money, Tesco is just a minute away and for the same price you can have more options.

Excellent value for money, good clean rooms. Fairly quiet given its location be prepared for some noise as some rooms are on the main road through Lancaster. Also next door to a pub so expect some people returning to their rooms late at night. For a city centre hotel, it's ideal as a cheap bed. They also allow dogs which is a real plus although you can't leave them in the room alone.

The room was good, but I'd pass on the £10 'breakfast box'! If you want a hot breakfast go next door to the pub. You can't have an alarm call either as no phones/clocks in the room, so you have to hope that the alarm on your phone works (fortunately mine did).

Arrived very late with no prior booking. Excellent service. Pristine clean room. Kind professional service. Willing to go the extra mile for guests. Thank you

Your standard travelodge. Plain but functional rooms. Shower was very nice, powerful with plenty of water. Bed comfy. Staff were friendly enough. Helps that it is next to a pub.
