Stayed here for a night in Motorhome.nLovely hotel and very dog friendly.nVaried menu with good options. The food was really nice and the service was good.nThe bar is great, it got quite busy later and we got involved in the quiz which was good fun.nThe staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner is very hands on and came over for a chat. Her and her daughter are lovely.nReally enjoyed my time here.

We booked the hotel and a meal after our son graduated. Having driven a long distance and with  a full on day in the sun.nnUpon checking in we were told that no meals would be served presumably due to the football. They did not offer to try to find somewhere else for us to eat and had not contacted us regarding the cancelled food booking. All they said was a quick sorry. We had to sort ourselves out at the nearby Cross Keys where the service and meal was excellent.nnThe room itself was ok. Reasonable size and clean. However there were no toiletries of any kind and whilst there were tea cups there werent any glasses for water etc.nnOverall would not recommend due to overall poor service.

Went for a mothers day meal with my family and to be honest, I wasnt overly impressed. I ordered roast turkey with all the trimmings abd when it arrived the vegetable dish was only just hot with no serving spoon. There were no roast potatoes or cranberry sauce as stated on the menu and a miniscule amount of gravy.nTook 3 minutes to flag down someone ask tell them the problem. They proceeded to go in the kitchen to tell chef and on their return,  presented me with burnt roast potatoes so hard, I couldn't cut them up and  totally burnt  stuffing ball.nFor the money spent, a very disappointing visit. The fish and chips my son had, however, looked amazing

Me and my family were planning on going for a nice meal and the atmosphere was good but the food was average and some of us got the wrong orders and some were missing items and the service wasn’t the fastest that other places would be. However we appreciate it was a bank holiday and pub may have been busy throughout the day so would have put pressure on the team.

Celebrated my Mums 70th this weekend in the function room, at short notice due to being let down elsewhere. Couldn't have asked for a more fantastic and friendly service. Fantastic venue, beautifully decorated and the kindest caring staff. Tracy made the day easy after a very stressful time. Can't thank you all enough xxx
