Wonderful. Fantastic. What a find. Couldn't fault it. The most amazing choice of breakfast dishes from full english to pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. The rooms are clean and comfortable and although the property is on a main road the accommodation is set back in a courtyard and is remarkably quiet. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Wonderful! Nice comfy rooms, but most of all absolutely fantastic food and drink. We stayed for two nights, and ate in the restaurant both nights as the food was absolutely delicious. Even had a comprehensive gin menu and the service was outstanding. One morning my wife was unwell so didnt come down to breakfast, so they kindly offered to plate up a hot breakfast for her for me to take up to the room without me even asking. Short distance from Lancaster - ideal place to stay if visiting the city or the area. Will definitely stay again when visiting next.

Been half a dozen times now and have never been disappointed. Very nice food.

Amazing food but service staff very very disappointing.  They were preparing for a wedding and we were  ignored.  Plates were not cleared for 25 mins. No courtesy talk at all.
