I had a truly lovely lunch today at The Windmill Pub. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—just the right mix of cozy and lively. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor.nnWhat really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Lisa, our server, was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Her genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made the lunch even more enjoyable.nnHighly recommend The Windmill if you're looking for great food and outstanding service. I'll definitely be back!
Disappointing Sunday brunch with relatives visiting from Japan.nThe eggs Benedict was fair at best. the Ham had dry edges and dry throughout. The hollandaise seemed old which, I suspected and then convinced when I saw same dish served up at next table just after ours where sauce looked fresh in texture and colour.nNo attempt to garnish with sprinkling parsley or toasted seeds as I do at home. Plating up was basic; as mentioned I do better at home.nThere was no listing of juice/tea/coffee and no verbal direction. I guess we could have asked but we were chatting but that said we were ‘paying’ dining guests so you’d think you’d be instructed as to their way of serving these things. We were warned off a certain section reserved for overnight b&b guests, but otherwise no other word to us snd no mention in the menu as to drinks.nMy brother’s ’full English’ had Hash Brown u find in freezer packs and equally tasteless. With the skill of the chefs they boast, you’d think they could make these!nI’d recommend Bill’s restaurant for brunch if u can find branch near SW4…. or make at home if u can poach eggs and find some dry ham.
We had a wonderful family lunch following an internment of ashes.nThe food was excellent and the service was exceptional. From start to finish Lisa looked after us, and our four dogs, brilliantly. Thanks so much
I dined at The Windmill right before the exciting Tot vs. Manchester match, and I was thoroughly impressed. Lisa delivered exceptional service and suggested a fantastic wine that perfectly complemented my delicious sirloin steak.nnI wholeheartedly recommend this place and eagerly look forward to returning for another delightful experience with Lisa.
We've had a lovely time on Sunday, booked for my mum's birthday who was treated to a complimentary bubbly which was a lovely touch. The food was great too, although if I want to be super honest the pork belly was a tiny bit dry compare to some of our other meals we've had at the pub. The staff was super attentive, welcoming and friendly.
