We came here as a group of 4 for lunch and had a pleasant experience.nThe place itself is very cozy and quite roomy.nMy favorite part was hands down the mulled wine, very delicious.nWe got the burger which was decent, the honey&chilli camembert was good and the onion rings surprisingly delicious.nService was friendly and polite, we even got asked by the duty manager if everything was fine.
Myself and a small group booked to come to this venue for Sunday Roast a week or so ago.nMyself and my best friend are MASSIVE Sunday Roast snobs and we had yet to find a venue in London that met our expectations.nnThe Trinity Arms EXCEEDED our expectations. The bar staff were amazing. The table service was exceptional and the Sunday Roast was OUT OF THIS WORLD!nnWe will definitely be back. Thank you so so so very much for an amazing afternoon. Every single member of staff should be incredibly proud of the great service that they provide.nnI would recommend The Trinity Arms to ANYBODY wishing for a GREAT Sunday Roast. *****
Brixtonn £6.05 PravhannThe Trinity Arms is located on a peaceful residential square in the backstreets of Brixton. The nearest Tube is Brixton, it’s a five minute walk to get here.nnThis Youngs pub was built in 1850, it would seem to have been a part of their stable of pubs for all this time. Looking at the exterior tiles and stonework, it was probably remodelled in the 1930’s, the latest refurb was 2016.nnThe decor here is traditional with a contemporary upscale feel. The main bar is “U” shaped and has a centrally located servery. There is plenty of seating throughout with a mix of banquettes, booths and stools by a drinking ledge. There are some nice decorative touches like the fireplaces, wall cabinet and various black and white photos of Brixton of old. Upstairs is a dining room, at the rear of the pub is a secluded beer garden complete with a warm large fire-pit, there is also additional outdoor seating at the front.nnThe beer selection was solid and included three Youngs cask ales. I decided on a pint of Pravha, my pint hit the spot, price point was average. The food menu is British pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £18.50, roasts are available on a Sunday.nnI arrived just after 1pm on a warm Saturday lunchtime in August. There were a fair few punters sat out front and in the beer garden, the main bar area was chilled and relaxed. The service was great, the team here are friendly and made me feel very welcome.nn@thetrinityarms is a welcoming backstreet pub that has a lovely local pub feel. The beer offering will please most and is reasonably priced and there is plenty of grub on offer. The surroundings are comfortable and you’ll be well looked after. I enjoyed my visit here and would recommend a visit.nnℹ Info correct on visiting 03.08.24
Excellent quality of food and drink on Christmas Day. Superb beef. A thoroughly enjoyable Christmas Day menu.
I booked a table for a big group of people for my birthday. When we arrived I told the staff, they said it was upstairs. There were people finishing a meal in our seats. I had to asked to move multiple times. And then when they eventually did I had to ask some one to clear all the food. The staff didn’t clean the table, so my friend had to get blue cloth and clean it. Wouldn’t go to this pub for a special event or night out. Wasn’t a great experience.
