Interior was really a nice vibe for dinner. It was super busy so I do recommend booking. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, we had the pork belly and lamb as mains and they were both really good. Amazing portion sizes. They have a great outdoor seating area too. Would go back and recommend.
It would be hard to find anything as good as this for a lazy Sunday lunch. Impeccable service from Maddie. Exquisite food from the kitchen. Just a brilliant experience all round. Never had a piece of beef so perfectly rare nor a place of cheese so agreeably matured and of course a great array of drinks. Perfect in every way
Came for the roast, optioned were great and everything tasted amazing. Loved the way it was served family style. Pricing was also really reasonable and portions were good. Guinness here is also 10/10!
The Canton Arms is a charming little pub with a lot of character. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and visitors. The food is solid — the Sunday roast is definitely a highlight, with tender meat and well-seasoned vegetables. The beer selection is decent, and the staff are friendly, though a little slow at times during busy hours. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise level; it can get quite loud when it’s crowded, which makes it harder to have a quiet conversation. But overall, a fantastic place for a hearty meal and a pint. Definitely worth a visit!
This English restaurant is decent, although it can get quite noisy and crowded, especially on a Friday evening as we experienced. The food itself is satisfactory, nothing extraordinary, and the portion sizes are also average. As expected in London, the prices are on the higher side, but still within the norm. The desserts offered are satisfactory as well. Overall, while I wasn't particularly impressed, the most important aspect of the evening was the good company and being surrounded by friends, which made the experience enjoyable. We had rabbit, fish asparagus and lasagna.
