Came here for a drink during the afternoon, I KNOW I didn't go during the evening or when a band was playing but chatting to other people there I've heard it gets very busy and packed. The lady behind the bar was brilliant, friendly, helpful and informative. The venue is very cool. Great choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Really liked the place and would go again, especially if they've got live music.
Went to see live comedy here. The comedy itself was great.nThe venue however is vile. There were flies everywhere. Clearly a lot of underage people too… we won’t be back.
Security claim the venue is booked when it is not and deny access. Management are never around to fix it and the phones are off.nnEdit: I was denied access around 11pm to the main outside area and the first room which were both borderline empty. I’ve never seen them booked as the venue has always had specific areas for bookings. The security outside was rude and barely looked up from his phone call to address me. There is no signage to suggest any bookings etc.
The so called 'dj' refused to play requests. Apparently had never heard of 'commander' by Kelly Rowland. A great shame as all the other members of staff were fantastic. Great venue but strong sense that the game's gone.
Great for the music/jam session on Monday.nnBathrooms are in serious need of repair and updating even just for hygiene reasons. The staff have rather poor customer service/are slow and feels like no one can be bothered. Need a better range of soft drinks.
