Great local pub and restaurant. Love coming here for decent traditional pub meals and a fresh pint with the wife (and baby now). Very accommodating for little one and always ready to help! Nice quiet atmosphere usually and that's good for wife as she suffers from autism. They even accommodated her further recently when she was suffering from photosensitivity and let us dine in a very dark and quieter area of pub with only one lamp on so we could see our food! Love coming here and having a night off cooking and washing up! Especially for the bree wedges and cranberry starter! It's a home away from home! :)

A nice looking pub, good ales and food. However, we've been twice now with our family and we have to say we were not made to feel welcome by the landlord

Wonderful beer garden, friendly landlord. I came with my mum and 18 month old daughter and we were impressed. The menu is your usual pub grub, it was well priced and tasted fine, but nothing special. We'd definitely go again though as the setting is so lovely.
