Always great food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Wednesday night steak night was 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £35 and the steaks were perfectly cooked. Going to try Tuesday night pizza night next as the pizzas looked amazing too. Would highly recommend!

We stopped for a snack on a Sunday afternoon & the landlord was very accommodating as they were really only serving roasts. Nice friendly place. Cosy, modern & period decor. 3 ales on draft. Good place for ALL.

Stayed for 2 nights.. the room was small but clean & beautifully decorated. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived & all the staff we met were very warm & friendly. The food here is amazing.. real food, real portions & real prices.. we would definitely stay here again.
