The Mole Inn

This is our first time to the Mole Inn, and will not be our last. From the moment you leave the car and you walk to the restaurant you get that feeling that you know its going to be good. My wife and I had a warm welcome, and we weren't rushed to our table as soon as we walked through the door. The staff were very polite. The restaurant has a lovely homely feeling. As for the meal and service, this was second to none. The food was cooked to our requests and tasted fantastic. As were the desserts. The whole experience is one to remember.

Always a nice experience. Cozy gastropub "over the river and through the woods". Great service and reliably good food/wine selection.

(pls read until the end) First off, really great food, well happy with the menu and the execution, congratulations to the chefs and kitchen staff. This is a really nice place with some staff who were really friendly and helpful. Others... Not really... We got a poor service, slow, forgotten deserts, no checks for more drinks, even a hint of rudeness included, inexperience (or ignorance) at handling the card payment machine, etc. This left us with a bitter taste about the place which has great potential but overall provided a bad experience on my wife's birthday. Sad to leave a bad review but I hope it attracts attention for management to review their staff.

Fantastic food great ambience made my father's 83rd Birthday so special. Cannot thank you enough. Highly recommend The Mole Inn.

Cozy, great food, grest beer, great wine - I recommend this place to any friends that come and stay! It's in a tiny magical village outside of Oxford and the food is high standard but reasonable. Would highly recommend.
