Another pub hidden away in Richmond that I have never been to. I visited on a Sunday night near to closing time so can't really review the place in it's fill glory. However, the pub was a nice find. Lots of people laughing and enjoying the last hours of their weekend. I would come back on another night to get a proper feel for the place.
Absolute top notch pub. Great food, great service and staff, and a cool small beer garden out the back. Would highly recommend!!
This is a beautiful pub in the backstreets of Richmond with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The drinks, snacks and starters are served very efficiently and are always delicious! They have a very varied and seasonal menu with loads of delicious options vegetarian and not. I started with the babaganoush and hummus flatbread which is an amazingly delicious small snack incase you aren't very hungry or waiting on someone. Then i had the steak of the day which is succulent, flavourful and stunningly delicious. It comes with a perfect peppercorn sauce and a delicious side salad that pairs well with the steak. It makes a great family dinner place on mother's day or father's day and for a Sunday Roast. Would give 6 stars if I could!
I absolutely love this pub! The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes me feel welcome. The environment is cosy and inviting, which makes it the perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. Its also got a very nice covered outside area, which is equipped with heaters, making it a great spot to hang out even during the colder months. Whether you're looking for a place to catch up with friends, have a few drinks, or just relax, this pub is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!
Customer for years, coming with my son. The staff has always been exceptionally welcoming, they saw my kid grow and even offered cuddles over time. The food is amazing, the burger with brisket is to die for.
Went for a large group roast dinner. Fantastic cut of beef sirloin, great wine list, service was friendly, super efficient and very attentive. Best roast in Richmond!
Our favourite pub in Richmond. It’s always cosy and warm inside. And unlike some pubs in town, it’s always relaxing and fairly quiet to enjoy a nice drink.
I’m pretty fussy about pub roasts but this one was really one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. We did wait an hour for the food... but it was worth the wait and they gave us a free drink to make up for it which was a lovely touch. Waiters and waitresses friendly and the beer garden was lovely to sit in the sunshine. Will definitely come back :
Great staff, chilled vibe, great inspired food and menu. Got to be one of my favourite pubs!
Excellent staff, location and nibbles. We had our child's birthday party at the White Horse. They have a lovely little garden in the back with a connecting door to the playground. It was an ideal location as people were able to take breaks with their children in the park and then come inside for cake and drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend!
