Great food, great atmosphere. Lovely little pub you can go with family or with friends. Staff are very friendly too can't recommend this place enough.
Very average food. Overcooked probably reheated burger with undercooked chips. Wife didn't like the cod and chips either. Decor is decent. Good beer selection.
We visited over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere, staff and the local regulars, who were very inviting. The pub was very busy and staff were rushed off their feet but they continued serving, with a smile and were very polite and hospitable. I didn't eat but saw many people enjoying their meals, so will definitely be returning for the new landlady's meals, which l've heard such good things about. Lovely family, friendly place and I can see me and my family making a good few visits here. Ps Iwas a little nervous about suitable parking but my fears were allayed because there was ample.
My local pub, been going here for years but very disappointed tonight, just went for a drink and had no less than 5 people around me openly vaping in the bar, just seems to be accepted now! Staff did nothing to stop it, probably not paid enough. Hopefully not a sign of things to come under the new ownership.
Two of my friends and I stumbled across this pub on the way to a fort and the food was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and Sky, one of the staff members there sorry if I spelt your name wrong, helpt my friend with his injury and even offered to ride with him in the ambulance. So thank you Sky and other members that helped out!
What amazing service and such a cosy atmosphere, the pub is a perfect place for a drink. The new owners are so much fun and so welcoming.
Went with a party of 16 people for lunch. Everyone’s food was good & freshly cooked. The staff were friendly & efficient & nothing was too much for them. Would definitely recommend
A nice warm pub with friendly staff. The food is home cooked and although they were busy we didn't have to wait long. The pie was delicious.
Excellent hearty food. Welcoming and friendly service. Cold beer. Lovely village pub.
