A great find. On a quiet Monday lunchtime, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and excellent service. The 'prix fixe' menu was perfect for us. Really good, fresh fish and chips - the best I'd had for a while. The vegetarian options, especially the cauliflower dish, were also much enjoyed. We're certainly planning to go back!
Lovely old pub. Fabulous food on the fairly priced prix fixe menu : creative dishes served attractively. Between us we tried 3 different starters and 3 different main courses including vegan food like the tasty teriyaki cauliflower. Friendly, helpful, sollicitous staff. We'll be back!
Outstanding pub. Wonderful food. Sunday dinner is a must. On my 1st visit It was like I was a local - my mother is. In Thame which has a main part in the Midsomer Murder Story -neven Morse not look out of place eating there. Warning- Book car reg in at bar if park here.
The place is absolutely fantastic, friendly staff and really good food. 12oz steak was good quality and perfectly cooked. Sticky toffee pudding exactly how it should be. Would I visit this place again, absolutely yes.
