This place is wonderful. When you walk into the small enclosed garden, you just know that you made the right choice. The rooms are all stunning, not just good, you felt like you were in a 5* Hotel. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. I would recommend to everyone, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Shepherd's Purse and will definitely stay there on our next trip to Whitby.

Lovely room. Very romantic. Secluded and private. Bit hard to find. I'd call them to get directions. And noisy seagulls at night on one of the nights we were there.
