We had pizzas here tonight. They were delicious and were a very good size. The chips were also very nice & the food was brought out quickly. Great place for a family meal, and won't cost the earth.
Had a night away at the pier inn to celebrate my friend’s 60th birthday, what a lovely place, couldn’t have asked for a better location. The rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too. I would definitely stay there again, absolutely fell in love with Whitby such a lovely place
Absolutely wonderful place. Such friendly staff and reasonable prices for a round of drinks. £18 for pint and half of lager, a merlot and vodka and coke. We didn't eat so can't comment. Very dog friendly
We had the steak and ale pie mash and Veg. The pie was nice the mash was ok but not hot and the veg tasted like it had just come out of the fridge. Flat cold. Service was poor nobody bothered asking if our meals were OK.Service: 1/5
A great place to meet some of the locals. Food was very good at a fair price point. Only draw back is that the pub tends to get a bit noisy during the dinner hours. By-pass the more touristy places and dine here. You will not be disappointed.
Called in late afternoon today with the hubby and the dog and had a meal - not many places allow dogs. Lovely food - had the Lasagne and the steak pie, which we can recommend. Will definitely eat here again.
Friendly pub, nice menu choice & pleasant atmosphere just what we needed for our first night in Whitby! Most of all it was very dog friendly. Only small gripe was that I think becuase a fair few ordered at the same time we ended up waiting half an hour for food but it was no bother as the food was very tasty, I had the fishcakes and my mum had the steak pie which was very meaty and an actaul individual pie! The best way! Thanks for your welcoming atmosphere
First experience here with my girlfriend and it will certainly be our last!! For £30 we expected a nice meal but I ordered a burger with no gherkins, it came with gherkins which was sloppy and not very nice! My girlfriend ordered panko squid rings which didn't come with the lemon & garlic dip she wanted. They didn't even let us know they didn't have any when we ordered it. We won't be coming back!!
Lovely place, dog friendly, food is good price and really nice and fresh. Staff are all nice, friendly and welcoming. Will be visiting again next time I visit whitby.
Very impressed with the room , the staff were friendly and helpful, great cooked breakfast using local produce. Stayed for two nights and will definitely be booking again.
