Fantastic location. You are lucky if you get a seat outside, we managed to get on inside at the window. Great to people watch. Usually Wetherspoons menu on offer. Even more seats were upstairs as it stretched across several levels. A wait at the bar as it was really busy with the queue out the door after we sat down.
Across the road from the train station so super easy to access - there is a main entrance for the bar and a rear entrance for the hotel but staff will guide you if needed. We had a balcony room with a great view of the marina, my only issue was that you could hear people very clearly in the corridor as there seemed to be a gap under the door. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazing I would definitely come back here again!
Absolutely loved this place. Lovely clean rooms, all the usual tea, coffee,sugar, biscuits etc bits in room. The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The location is fantastic being next to the train station and main attractions. Will definitely stay again.
HinThe room we had was clean and fairly well presented.nThe cellar cooler went down over our stay with some draught beers temporarily taken off. These things happen. My only complaint was the breakfast was served cold, which was surprising considering how busy the hotel was. We didn't complain as the wait was quite long but should have been better. Credit to all the staff who remained polite and friendly while under pressure.
Great service. Had a lovely breakfast, great drinks machine with refillable option you can pay for, reasonably priced. Massive place, very busy. Just had a meal, on a day trip. Location very convenient
