Really enjoyed staying at The Rosebery Hotel, a really cute cosy place to stay. Staff were really friendly and happy to help in any way. We were greeted with a glass of wine, a very nice touch! The vintage style interior gives a fab, quirky atmosphere. Loved all the antique pieces in the hallway, like the piano in the entrance - want one! The room was gorgeous, really spacious. The bed was beautiful, and so comfortable. The bathroom in particular was lovely - a gorgeous roll top bath, and all the toiletries needed. A free breakfast was provided, which we ate by the window, such a pretty view. Really tasty croissants, and a range of drinks choices. So convenient for the city centre, just hopped on and off the metro in 5 minutes. Will definitely come again to The Rosebery, it's a really charming place to spend a weekend. .
We enjoyed a very peaceful night at the Rosebery with a great breakfast in the morning. The decor was too fussy for my taste with too much furniture in the room but other that that everything was was very good. The biggest plus was the lack of noise in the hotel during the night and the welcome and luxuries for our dog. As a minus our room had a substantial screen for the toilet and shower rather than a seperate room with a door. We will definitely return when next in the area.
I had a wonderful stay for the weekend here at the Roseberry Hotel. The staff were very friendly and made nothing at all seem like a bother, I personally find the decor very nice and it’s certainly my own personal taste but I can see how it might be “too much” for some people. Honestly, for the price it’s a beautiful hotel. I loved how comfortable my bed was, how silent the hotel was in the evening despite the fact I think it was full, and the complimentary wine and olives when I arrived went down a treat! Normally for the price point I wouldn’t even notice the negatives, but purely because of how lovely the hotel is on everything else I feel I need to point out a few things - the shower in my room poured water onto the carpet as the curtain didn’t quite protect it and I feel very conscious of how much water was going on the carpet and I cut my showers shorter than I’d have liked. The glass drawers in my room were cracked, and there wasn’t anywhere except the floor to put my kettle on because of the positions of sockets, and from an accessibility standpoint there is a LOT of stairs and narrow corridors. All that said, I loved it, my stay was very comfortable, and the little touches such as the huge selections of teabags, sweets on top hats throughout the corridors and porcelain teacups in my room more than made up for my few complaints. Would love to come back!
Vintage Style in Newcastle A tucked away Jesmond B&B, stumbled across it via another portal, but booked direct, as cheaper. Very clean, room was well laid out, everything you would need food wise, selection of croissants, muffins and waffles for breakfast, with all the accompaniments. Curiosities, mirrors and humorous signs adorn the common parts. Staff were friendly and welcoming and car parking around the hotel was easy. Got a complementary glass of wine and a few sweets when I checked, which was a nice touch. In the locality, a good Italian, walking distance and a few shops. Good night's sleep, which is always the objective, will stay again and recommend it.
Lovely boutique hotel, most comfortable bed ever with down feather duvet and pillows. Quirky designs and beautiful fabrics, definitely has the feminine touch. Staff were extremely helpful also and very pleasant. Complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch.
Beautiful and quirky decor - super easy to find from the street with its lush and fairy-light studded garden! Remote / out of hours check in much appreciated as a late arrival from London. Really comfortable room. Great stay, very quiet. Well located to get in to Newcastle City Centre by foot or bus.
A lovely hotel, in a quiet location, within walking distance of the city centre. A boutique hotel very tastefully decorated with beautifully proportioned rooms and excellent breakfast facilities. The staff were so helpful, I left my purses behind and they went out of their way to make sure it was returned to me. When I return to Newcastle I won't be looking for anywhere else to stay, within fifteen minutes you are in the heart of Newcastle. Excellent all round.
A remarkably quirky hotel, by its own description and the reality bears it out. Top hats full of sweets all over. We arrived after the reception closed. Self check in was easy, it is clean and cozy. The decor is ecclectic to say the least, however, it is well done and adds a homely charm. Waiting in our room on arrival, we're two glasses of wine, peanuts and olives. The room 3 has a double and a single bed, wardrobe, side tables and a marble topped breakfast table an old treadle sewing machine base. The is a small fridge, a TV and tea and coffee facilities. I would use it again. Check the website photos.
What a place. I took my wife here for our first anniversary and told the hotel in advance who could not have been more helpful. They laid out the room beautifully, my wife was overwhelmed. The room was quirky and the attention to detail not only in the accommodation but to our needs was second to none. Highly recommend the rosebery hotel and will definitely be back. Cannot speak highly enough. Staff all so helpful and kind really made our 2 night stay an anniversary/holiday to be remembered. Thanks all at the Rosebery Hotel!
What an absolute gorgeous hotel amazing customer services, the rooms are spotless and absolutely adorable The misses would love it! So impressed if your up Newcastle forget staying anywhere else apart from here! I'm up here for business but if your a couple and floating about the area this is a must!
