Booked the hotel not realising it was above a nightclub. Requested cancellation, emailed the property and tried to call several times. All attempts ignored. Searched on the way in, karaoke blaring until 10pm before we left having to get up at 6am for work; we checked in elsewhere, in a hotel that actually respects their guests and doesn't search them like criminals. And then they refused a refund despite ignoring us which is fine because we will raise a debit card dispute. The biggest issue we had was the bag search and their security waving around my partners incontinence device asking what it is! So embarrassing.
Great location. Staff were lovley and the room was perfect. I would recommend this to all families or couples would especially love this.
Friendly door and bar staff. Great gay crowd of all ages and fantastic music. What's not to like! If you like 80's/90's cheesy pop and lots of bears this is the place!Service: 5/5
Pretty dire room but Also incredibly cheap so pay for what you get sort of deal. Really good location. If cost is a big factor I'd recommend it otherwise spend the money and find something nicerRooms: 3/5
My experience of this place goes against those on here who've clearly had an off day experience in their lives when theyve stepped foot in Rem's which I guess can't be helped and each to their own opinions. I haven't encountered any rude staff possibly slightly stressed, but again, life and being a bartender, drag act or manager or door personnel, etc, I'm guessing can not be easy at times. From August 2023 when I stepped foot in Rem's & present day its been easy to talk with people, bar staff are friendly, easy going and if it becomes your regular when you venture into Manchester like mine now you become known to the bar team and other regulars....its a really nice feeling and Friday, Saturday and Sunday's for me when I'm over - it always delivers and makes you feel good to have visited. Drinks are pretty averaged priced better than others on village-strip. I cannot comment or give a star rating for the hotel part of the business as I've never stayed, so I can't rate the rooms, sorry. All round good place to escape, and it's great to sit out if it's not too cold. It's a fab vibe when summer comes around! Thanks Team Safety: Bar manager and door personnel do look after the punters. I've experienced it personally how they, as discreetly as can be done, do not disrupt the vibe or atmosphere in Rem - hats off to the staff. Walkability: Very easy to navigate regardless if you're travelling in to Manchester by any mode of transport. Food & drinks: I've yet to experience the full delights of Rem's food menu. Drink-wise, I've never had a bad experience and reasonably priced.

I popped in here on the way past to another destination and, as it seemed busy, popped in for a drink. It was quite nice and not as pretentious as some of the other bars in the area. My friend managed to get us talking to this couple that was out and I always think it's a good sign when people talk back. Believe me, one thing I've noticed that people don't want to mix as much now days. Everyone seemed to mix in here though.
This hotel is really great, it has a great atmosphere, I say that anyone who has a hotel job should go to this hotelRooms: 5/5
