It was quiet when we went. The bar staff friendly. Customers/regulars seemed friendly enough good pint good music. Glad  I checked it out as reviews from some are so wrong. Pity no way of disputing their reviews. Toilets didn't stink!!!!!!  Yes I agree slightly dated. However plenty of atmosphere. Guinness very good.

What a great place! Best in Canal Street. Friendly staff and value for money.  A must visit!!

I have no idea why this place has not shut down yet. Extremely expensive drinks and the place needs a major refurbishment. Terrible music and filthy cramped toilets.
