Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Meggie, Pasquale and Stan. Great communication and atmosphere. Room was clean and tidy. Recharged positive energy here, so happy!!!Rooms: 5/5
Location of the hotel is great! Rooms were standard. Clean and tidy. The initial lobby service could be better. Little to no communication from the guy behind the desk as he sorted our room key card. We had no cot in the room, despite having requested it and having it confirmed at the desk - only to then have the guy drop it off in the room a little later. This just needed to be communicated, as it would have saved confusion. Otherwise, I'll definitely book the hotel stay again if hubby does any more running events Walkability: Great location and within walking distance of pretty much anywhere in the center Manchester.

Had a great experience here. Stayed overnight for an all day conference held at the hotel. Rooms are great, spacious and clean. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Conference facilities were great. Food tasted lovely. Good location as only short walk from Piccadilly train stationRooms: 5/5
Faris on reception, Ion chef and breakfast team - Robin, Fily, Joseph and Ritchie were all very friendly and helpful. Ion cooked 2 perfect poached eggs and I was really impressed by all the hotel staff. They were lovely even though the hotel is busy. Nearby activities: Very central Walkability: 20 minutes walk to Manchester Picaddily
Great place to stay if you're looking to be in the centre of town. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast surprisingly good. Occasionally we had an odd smell in the rooms, but nothing too bad. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a great hotel. Really well located, surprisingly quiet and the room and food very good. Both my breakfast and evening meal were spot on - in fact the fish and chips was very, very fresh and tasty. The service too is excellent and Valeria on reception was super helpful, with lots of smiles and just delightful. What a gem.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel was very well placed and close to everyone. We had a good stay. The room was clean. Thank you very much to Fily at Breakfast, very smiling kind and took care of us and very attentive and for her hospitality. I Recommend Nearby activities: Close to center
Reception and foyer is lovely but the rooms are looking very shabby. We were given a disabled room which we did not book and disabled rooms were actually cheaper than what we paid at the time of booking. The room was very shabby and dirty with stains on the bedding and a dirty shower tray. Tea/coffee stains all down the wall and hairs and dirt all over the skirting boards, definitely not worth £120 a night.
First time staying in Manchester and chose the Novotel as a last minute booking. I decided to take a moment to put in a review as the place was amazing, big clean rooms, lovely decor and incredibly central location. The stand out feature however was the kind and attentive staff, I dealt with Pasquale and another lovely lady whose name escapes me, but for me stay they were absolutely brilliant! I shall be staying for work a few more times over the next few months and I'll certainly be returning here!
