"A great little village pub in North Cornwall serving good food some tapas and bbq, wine, beer & spirits. We offer Cornish & Aussie Gins too. Family & dog friendly. Takeaway option is also available.We are easy to find as we are just of the main road A39 St Kew Highway and have a large car park at the rear.Wadebridge is the nearest town with many small villages such as St Tudy, St Kew, St Mabyn, Trequite and Chapel Amble to name a few close by.We have implemented a COVID safe environment with a relaxed feel but in keeping with government guidelines"

Having their version of beef wellington is not to be missed! I loved everything about this small pub. We’ve been in the UK for about 10 months but one of the best pubs we’ve ever been lovely staff and tasty food. Selling their local beer which was really delish! If you ever come by this village, definitely worth visiting!Food: 5/5
Absolute gem of a pub. Traditional pub with the most incredible homely food and a decent specials board. Bernie topped the experience with her sense of humour which is very much on my level. Can’t wait to come back on our next Cornwall visit.
We visited with our dogs on two consecutive days as the foid was that good.First night we had rib eye steak which was cooked beautifully.The next night we had the beef Wellington which was amazing There is a 25 min wait for the wellingtin but its definitely wirth the wait! The staff are so friendly and even thoygh we were holiday makers we were made to feel like locals. Dogs are made to feel equally welcome. Will definitely visit again
Absolutely lovely charming pub, staff where very nice and kind. Food was rather scrummy, pleasently surprised. very happy to be fitted in on a busy night, recommend to anyone to come here. Special curry of the day was delicious
Lovely little place, very accommodating, food is beautiful, can't do enough for you. Booked as a pitstop on way home from padstow as couldn't get in anywhere else and glad we found this little gem. Would love to return when we can on next holiday
Great Coronation Day Lunch - Bernie and James Did Us Proud We had Royal Ploughmans and Coronation Quiche, a perfect meal and the place was packed with happy people. Really enjoyed this themed lunch.
Super friendly staff, felt very welcomed. Best chips I've ever had, almost like roast potatoes chips. The Red lion burger was great, definitely in my top 5.Food: 5/5
Whenever we visit Cornwall we always book in for dinner here one night. It is such a lovely pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is delightful. Highly recommend for a good dinner Food: 5/5
On a busy Saturday night they kindly helped us with a takeaway while we were staying at a nearby campsite after our original dining plans fell through. Everything was prompt, fairly priced and importantly delicious. Great job, thank you!Food: 5/5
