Last night had just a fab meal at this lovely pub. Greeted by a black lab at the door and very friendly bar and waiting staff, we could not have been made more welcome. Food just great, perfect for the stormy night outside and the open log fire inside. Excellent value, the best atmosphere. Hasn't changed a winning formula which attracts all ages. Well done St. Kew!

We had a meal here on Tuesday night we both had prawns for starters my wife Sue had Hake with mussels in white wine sauce, I had a10 oz steak with everything you could think of followed by a passion fruit cheesecake. All I can say it was probably the best pub meals we have ever had.better than 5 stars. Barry and Sue Duhig. .

Visited this lovely old country pub today with friends at lunchtime. The pub and the staff are very welcoming there was a log fire burning in main bar which smelt wonderful. We had three great baggettes two with the steak and blue cheese and one with goats cheese each came with a side salad and crisps, we had some fries as extra which were tasty. We also had a plate of ham eggs and fries, the portions of which were very generous, all of the above washed down with some local ales. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will come back to try the evening menu at sometime.

Stopped by for Sunday lunch today. Probably the best food I have ever been served in a pub! Couldnt fault it at all! The team were really friendly and really really accommodating towards our 5 year old and 1 year old.

Fantastic little pub, really good food and really friendly, knowledgeable staff. It’s location is great, tucked down in a little valley, it can be tricky to find sometimes, especially when the fog comes down. It’s got a great atmosphere inside, helped by the presence of quite a few locals which is great. We’ve been here many, many times and have always enjoyed our visits! Highly recommended.
